- Piring vakum – Piring vakum biasa disebut juga pelat skimmer, alat ini menghubungkan selang ke saluran masuk skimmer.
- Kepala vakum – Pilih kepala vakum yang tepat untuk menghindari kerusakan pada lapisan kolam. Untuk itu gunakanlah kepala vakum yang memiliki roda untuk memudahkan pergerakan di kolam renang beton atau gunite.
Langkah-langkah Melakukan Vakum Kolam Renang
Setelah semua peralatan siap, saatnya memulai proses penyedotan kolam renang. Ikuti langkah-langkah di bawah ini:
1. Rakit Vakum Kolam Renang
Merakit penyedot debu kolam renang cukup cepat dan mudah dilakukan. Pasang saja kepala vakumnya ke tiang teleskopik.
2. Hubungkan Selang Vakum Kolam Renang.
Pasang salah satu ujung selang ke kepala penyedot debu dan pasang ujung lainnya ke skimmer menggunakan pelat vakum. Namun, jangan lupa untuk melepas keranjang skimmer terlebih dahulu. Sebelum menyambungkan selang vakum kolam ke skimmer, biarkan udara keluar terlebih dahulu. Cara termudah untuk melakukannya adalah dengan memasang selang ke salah satu jet kolam sampai Anda tidak lagi melihat gelembung udara keluar dari selang.
3. Pilih Pengaturan Katup Filter
Untuk menyedot debu ringan, biarkan filter katup multiport di atur ke filter. Untuk jumlah kotoran yang lebih banyak, atur sistem filter ke pengaturan limbah yang mengalirkan air ke saluran pembuangan, bukan melalui filter. Bila menggunakan pengaturan limbah pada filter kolam, maka ketinggian air kolam akan berkurang. Jadi gunakan selang taman untuk memastikan aliran air tetap stabil dan menjaga ketinggian air tetap merata.

4. Mulai Proses Vakum Kolam Renang
Gerakkan penyedot debu seolah-olah sedang menyedot debu di atas karpet. Gunakan gerakan perlahan karena jika bergerak terlalu cepat akan mengaduk kotoran tanpa menyedotnya. Jika kolam sangat kotor, kosongkan filter pompa sebelum melanjutkan proses penyedotan. Ulangi proses ini sampai semua kotoran hilang dari dasar kolam.
5. Lakukan Proses Finishing Dan Ubahlah Setelan Filter
Setelah kolam telah di sedot sesuai keinginan Anda, lepaskan kepala penyedot debu dan selang penyedot. Pastikan untuk membersihkan bagian bawah skimmer juga. Jika ingin mengubah pengaturan pompa filter, pastikan untuk mengubahnya kembali. Untuk proses finishing, tempelkan sikat pada tiang teleskopik dan gosok lantai kolam renang dan sisi kolam dengan baik.
